“Adam Ramirez is primarily known as a fine art photographer under the alias Optimism Photography (Optphoto). This business first took shape in 2004, but expands continually with his with growing knowledge, technical skill, and curiosity.

In addition to photography, Adam keeps busy with sketching, making music, writing, and exploring the combinations of different forms of expression.

He produces from the inside out, feeding off everyday emotions, nostalgia, and much more. He pulls from a myriad of inspirations, drawing on anything from animation to fine art. He is truly self-driven and aspires to continue to succeed in the visual art field.”

Specializing in fine art and photography, I have worked all over the New York Metropolitan Area for the past 10 years. With clients ranging from major hotels to head shots for up and coming models, my portfolio is filled with very diverse imagery.

I have created my own process for assuring quality images by being as proficient and creative in front of the computer as I am behind the camera.

Not only has my work been published in print form and online, but my images have also been utilized for ad campaigns and album covers, as well as fine art.
